Description:

The Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture (COP) Workstation (JTCW) provides a framework for enhanced systems interoperability and commonality between Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. The JTCW is a Windows®-based tactical COP workstation suite of applications designed for Battalion and above to facilitate military Command and Control (C2) functions by improving Situational Awareness (SA) and enhancing operational and tactical decision-making. The JTCW encapsulates the C2 Personal Computer (C2PC) software, developed tactical Application Extensions (AEs), and other applications into a single software load to provide greater capability for C2 planning and interoperability. The addition of AEs with other applications and services to the core software provides increased functionality that meets Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Combat Development and Integration (CD&I)-directed JTCW operational requirements.

Operational Impact:

JTCW provides integrated Command and Control (C2) capabilities that enable the warfighter to plan, execute, and assess across the range of military operations at all echelons of the USMC.  JTCW is utilized throughout the MAGTF from HQMC to Company level users.

Program Milestone Status:

JTCW is in Operations and Sustainment phase of its Acquisition Life Cycle.
